I am…

I am a mother…

Can you sit with me in that space for a moment…

This dream that I have always had, clear, plain as day happening right before my eyes.  I woke up with the same feeling I had when I embraced my little girl on her birthday – my heart exploding from being over filled…

Filled with love beyond measure and understanding,  beyond description and comprehension. This role…this calling, it has changed and completed me.

I’ve always wanted to be a mother and would often daydream what that meant, looked and felt like. However,  this life I live is much different than my six year old self could fathom.

It’s much more complicated and stressful, but on the contrary,  it’s incredibly more grand and beautiful.  Through good and bad, I get to be wife and mother. Every day I have tge chace to learn about the tiny human that we created and every day she teaches me more about who I am.

My heart grows. My dreams expand. My love will forever be multiplied.  My soul enriched.

I am a mother, and that is just what I’ve always wanted to be.
